How can I shower beside a broken foot?
So, I broke my foot, and the doctor said it wasn't that bad of a break. I was put in a walking boot(which I can run off) and I can walk with it on without the crutches. To shower, my doctor said to simply balance on my feet and try not to put alot of pressure on my broken foot. I'm just alarmed I will slip and hurt myself. Do you have any tips on how to take a shower?
By the way, I'm sick and tired of baths :/
Uhm, my doctor did distribute me advice? Like I said before, I'm just instrument too scared of slipping.
I don't have to wear the cast within the shower:)

I used to do the trash backpack duct tape thing. But since you can take it rotten, why don't you do that? Just get a small stool and sit on it under the shower. That should work.
When I had surgery on my right foot, the PA told me to wrap my foot contained by plastic bags and seal it off next to duct tape to keep it dry. I also got a shower stool, so I could pretty much hang on to my foot out of the shower while I washed. That way my foot was not lower than the shower very long and stayed dry. The shower stools can be gotten at a medical supply store, and are not very expensive. Hope this helps.
