HOW CAN I GET THE EYE SWELLING FROM POISON IVY TO GO DOWN QUICKLY WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION?
Got poison ivy - and as usual I have horrible swelling around my eyes. What is the fastest home remedy for this? I've had shots and prescriptions before but they pinch a couple of days, too, so I might as well try some old kind of home remedy. Help - influential meeting on Monday!!
Best Answer: if you have poison ivy you need to use Domeboro you should know how to get it at wal-mart or at the drug store. if the drug store don't have it ask them if they can order it. and hold on to it on hand. best stuff for poison ivy. i know had it real unpromising one time and my eyes swelled to.try not to use much lotion it only spreads it.
Answer: Trying icing the area and try taking an anti-inflammant like IB Prufen. The rime should help a lot though
