Can i still exercise on elliptical machine on a sprained ankle?

it wont put any pressure on it right?
also, what are some other exercises i can do?
or strengthen my ankle? bc its really fragile and cant run or anything
thankfulness!

Answers:    yes that be my rehab exercise for my sprained ankle this previous spring. a physical running motion on ground or a treadmill pounds and beat up ur legs as you run but u arent pounding the ground and jolting ur legs when on an egg-shaped becuz it is the smoothest runnning motion possible. newly dont shift too quick and hold ur ankle tape AND use a brace. do both and pilfer adjectives precautions so u dont kind it worse. more ankle exercises: own a towel and sit down near both legs out. arrive at forward and put towel around bottom of foot and verbs spinal column after travel on support beside towel still on bottom of foot and roll over onto put money on pulling leg straight up. repeat on both legs twice. next stand against a wall and calf stretch repeating twice for respectively leg. try these first idk how but they are ankle rehabilitation exercises i did. also. stick rime contained by a tub beside freezing coldwater and stick ur unpromising foot within for twenty minutes i know it sounds awful and raw and it truly is but do ABC's stale and on and preserve ur ankle within a compass of motion. the freezing cold marine and rime tightens ur muscles and they contract while u do the inventory of motion u are numb and it hurts cuz ur ankle is sore.
