Is it true that writing on your hand/skin in pen is bad for you?

Answers:    It probably depends on the ink used. Some inks are more spongy than others. I'd say aloud fountain-type pen would be worse than standard ball-point pen -- contained by language of the types of inks commonly used within respectively. It's other best to avoid bodily contact next to (and the vapors of) chemicals, where on earth possible.
