Answers: Caitlin,
It's most probably broken. Feet are filmy, it's not atypical for dancers to break bones within their foot more than once during their trade.
Better own Mom drive you to the local emergency room. Bummer, I know but you'll want to own that foot within honest shape for then use...
try icing it 2-3 times a year for no smaller quantity than 20 min. this will facilitate the swelling walk down and will minister to the anguish. when the swelling go down and if the distress hasnt subsided, walk to the doctor to get hold of an x-ray. also, palpate both of you foot and see if you observe any measurable deformities-if so, you might own a break. otherwise, its probably in recent times bruised.
