Rubbing alcohol on cuts?

I read somewhere on the internet that it be unpromising to use alcohol on cuts to disinfect, because it slows restorative. Is this true?

I have this weird passion in my stomache - any ideas?

Answers:    As a event of reality, alcohol have proved to enjoy constrained effects on disinfecting .so if u substance up pros n cons ,you wont acquire anything compared near side effects .the cut on ur skin falls into two category :
1-minor cuts :wash next to sea and soap would be enough for these kind of skin injuries.
2-major cuts :it might be better to use skin injuries disinfecting solutions.you may buy them from pharmacy as "over the counter drugs".contained by this luggage please double check to be immunised properly against tetanus.

Is there anything i can do to help?

I don't know if it would slow beneficial. My brother be grinding, and ground past its sell-by date some of his skin, and he poured alcohol on it and it looked alot better within the subsequent few days. It lately burns approaching crazy. I would sugest by only just using some Hydrogen Peroxide. It works really ably! I've hear that almost hydrogen peroxide, not alcohol. I wouldn't use any repeatedly, that may unnecessarily dry the wound out.
