What would be the best mode for me to seize built?

I am a junior in high school. I be never a serious athlete until last year. Now I am a full time runner. I run cross country in the fall, hold running in the winter and run track during the spring. I am going to keep running during the summer. But as I am a distance runner I have never really have to train with weights or muscle training. Now I want to start building muscle over the summer, but I'm not sure how to start. I have a decent frame and a surrounding substance build body but that is just because of genetics. Last time I checked I could merely bench 155. I want to start a workout regiment that will equally train my entire body. If anyone else has any muscle building routines they could share that would be greatly appreciated.
Best Answer: First off, if you are a major cardio freak do not expect to obtain completely bulked. Cardio leans muscle out. Next lift as much weight as you can no more than 8 times. If you can erect a weight more than 8 reps you are working on endurance/stamina and less on strength. I used to like to do a 3 set by 3 rep one week, 5 set by 5 reps the subsequent week, then 5 reps 4 reps 3 reps 2 reps 1 rep the next week then start over again. This also help eliminate plateaus.
