A indent in a chest? what causes this?

I enjoy a few friends (most of which are 13ish) and some of them own approaching a indent contained by their chest pretty much at the center. They are kinda skinny- but after i own other skinny friends that don't own this- what on dust cause this dent and can it be fixed?

You know what, I own a friend that have close to a hole contained by his chest basically resembling that and he's really skinny. I ponder it's merely the course their ribs are. But this would be a thoroughly interesting entry to find out.
