Do I enjoy a mental disorder of some sort?
I think I might be insane.
Im always scared.
I cant confer on my bedroom at night without switching on a light.
I cant sleep minus a blanket, a light, background noise, curtains closed or if my bed isn't against a wall.
Im constantly worried that my friends don't if truth be told like me and just pretend to, then right to be heard things behind my back.
I don't like those who I don't trust touching me, yet if its someone I have never met who might brush past my arm within the street or at work its fine.
I cant be home alone.
Noises that I hear I manage to convince myself are murderers coming to get me.
When my dog barks I suggest its because someone is there.
I swear that one day I will be murdered.
I cant walk up my stairs because I mull over someone is hiding under them who will grab my ankle, causing me to trip next pull me under the stairs and kill me.
Is this almost constant terror I have normal or is there something seriously wrong beside me?
Best Answer: "I swear that one day I will be murdered. I cant walk up my stairs because I think someone is hiding underneath them who will grab my ankle, causing me to trip then verbs me under the stairs and kill me." Ask yourself, "are these reasonable assumptions"? Is here actually a reason someone would want to do this to you? In reality, no. It is not legit to consider this way but from time to time everyone does. Then they brush it off and go roughly their daily lives doing whatever. Many of these things people expect about from time to time. Some longer than other, some shorter. One big thing to think just about is your perspective on these things. "I think I might be insane. Im always scared. I cant leave your job my bedroom at night without switching on a light. I cant sleep short a blanket, a light, background noise, curtains closed or if my bed isn't against a wall. Im constantly worried that my friends don't if truth be told like me and just pretend to, then speak things behind my back" So what is your basis for comparison? Each one of us develops their own concept of what is right and wrong, proper or improper. All base upon experiences gained through lifes interactions with others. These things in selective are not really unusual. No one likes to be alone. "Is this almost constant fear I have common or is there something seriously wrong with me?" The possibility of this being a serious problem I would utter, would be only if this is effecting ones ability to live life and experience social relationships usually. But this is only to ones particular perspective. If it is affecting your life inexplicably, you miss work or school, you lock yourself indoors, you isolate yourself for days on end with no contact beside the outside world. Then you may have a problem. But, do not take on the perspective that all is capably with everyone else. That only you expereice difficulties on a daily argument. Who are we to be so arrogant as to think only we experience difficulties and problems with irrational consternation from time to time. This happens to everyone and is a natural part of what have kept the human species alive through fight or flight for thousands of years. Through the process of social interation and day to day mundane life, one develops coping skills to help deal next to these things. Do not stop yourself from experiencing a normal life due to issues you can honestly tell yourself, are unreasonable assumptions. Do not sign yourself with issues such as OCD, or manic depression. This can result in a crutch like perspective avoiding and personal responsibility to charge forward and assume a typical life. :)
