How can I cure my pubescent depression?

Im fifteen and a girl. I dont get on with my parents, and I cry every day because I merely feel so down:( Whenever my friends ask me to go anywhere I make my excuses- I never grain up to going. I cant tell my parents about it as they wont believe me, and my friends are annoyed enough at me never going anywhere near them, so how can I cure it myself?

Why don't you start forcing yourself to go out - you might find you enjoy it and next having your friends closer could make you happier. If that doesn't work go to a university councillor they could talk through it with you!

Ask your parents for help. Go to a doctor. Go to the college nurse/counselor. Forcing yourself to go out works wonders, it's easy to say no to going out, it's alot harder to stay wounded when your out with your friends.

basically you need an attitude adapt. What will help your depression is if you do the exact opposite of what you are doing. Happy people jump out with their friends, they talk about their atmosphere, etc. The best thing you can do for yourself, no matter how depress you feel when your friends ask you to run out.. drag yourself to go out, attempt to have some fun. Happiness is not something you just are, it's something you become. You enjoy to be kick your ass everyday and do things you know you don't want to do, but do them anyways cause they are good for you to do.

He took her to their inherited doctor and she was placed on anti-depressants and she said they helped a lot. I remember when I be a kid. My home life sucked, too. I couldn't believe how much the world changed when I left school and moved away from home. School is similar to a fish tank, as is your home life when you are growing up. The world is all around him, but he can't see outside of his container, because all that he is concerned with is inside that tank. Growing up, that's how it is.
