Is this ordinary or do I call for mental support?
My mom screamed at me a little while ago for forgetting to clean the kitchen and for accidentally departing one grocery in the car(which spoiled) and I got extremely upset. Like...I just get finished crying my eyes out and now I feel completely worthless. I know that this is really illogical and an overreaction. Similarly, a few weeks ago when academy was still in session I lost my notebook which didn't have anything TOO key in it and I literally spent the entire day trying not to cry, but I eventually broke down when a friend said "hi" to me, I didn't respond(because I couldn't speak without crying) and she confronted me almost it. I guess my question is: Do little things ever upset you to this point? I feel like a newly had a breakdown and it sucks because I was having a great hours of daylight before this.
Oh and I'm almost 18 years old.
Best Answer: I don't think that's anything serious... I overreact too sometimes. You're probably merely an overly sensitive or emotional person. Maybe you should be a little more stable, because it could be worse. Take my situation for instance, which relates to your notebook. I lost mine, too, and I've be looking for it all week. and I need it to study for final exams. I was crying today in recent times looking for it all over the house and it was nowhere... nowhere at school any. Lucky me, I have to borrow notes from my friend to copy them and re-take my own notes on stories we well-educated because I have a test on Tuesday, and some of my notes are surrounded by there. (I'm almost a straight A student too... you can get how overreactive I've been looking for it) Anyways, what I'm trying to read out : I don't think you have anything mentally wrong with you, but you probably should store the tears for things that are worth crying over. (I shouldn't be talking... even losing an important notebook is not worth crying over... but the stress and aggrivation trying to find it drove me nuts)

Sometimes these things do take place, trust me I'm the same way. You might consider asking a therapist just about it, like just going in for lone one session, just to see if help is needed. I say I know how you be aware of because I have O.C.D. and Depression and I cry and get emotional unbelievably easily, but I also have a therapist for a mom so usually I can obtain calmed down to a point where I can figure things out better. Another thing is to a moment ago go to the therapist long enough to cram how to react better and then just turn for monthly check ups and such, or whatever seems good for you. Don't be aware of embarrassed though many people enjoy this problem :)Please relief me, Do I involve meds or...

Stress seems to be the underlying factor, stress can cause any number or "breakdowns". At your age you've more than expected had a lot on your plate when it comes to school and okay just life in standard, those things compound and just eat away at us and we snap. You may not feel it to be stress most ethnic group don't acknowledge it right off...take some more time for yourself, find an outlet to release what needs to be vent out. I myself have never had this kind of problem but I enjoy seen it occur with a few of my friends, in fact many. Though don't fret you wil be fine just manage your stress level...find some downtime for yourself. If it still persists then yeah go wish some help.Related Questions...
