Does anyone know much more or less seroquel?
I was just put on seroquel. All the information I can find on it says its a "once a day" medication. My doctor have me on 50mg in the morning and in the afternoon, then 100mg after dinner. I grain totally sedated all day and find it extremely difficult to wake contained by the morning. It seems like overkill. Is that an abnormal amount of seroquel to lift daily?

The recommended max dose from the manufacturer is 4 times that much and the doctor, if he feels it required, can go even higher than that. I know what you mean around being tired, because I used to take this drug at a very giant dose and I ended up switching to a new med because I couldn't deal next to the side effects. The seroquel xr version is a once a day, but the regular form of seroquel is usually taken 2 to 3 times a day.

I believe it is. My doctor gave me 50 mg to take for sleep at bed time and it knocked me out really all right. I also gained weight on it and quit taking it after a few months. I don't think I could stand up during the morning if I were taking that much.
