Agoraphobics, when did you ending hold a holiday?

If you suffer from agoraphobia as I do, when was the last time you were competent to go away for a proper holiday?, I've been agoraphobic for 32 years but managed to hold a holiday about 15 years ago & that was the last time, I'd approaching to buy a caravan so that perhaps I could get away in that, the supposition being that I would be taking my home with me (bit like a tortoise, LOL), have anyone else done this? and did it work for you? Thanks. Agoraphobia means literally, fear of the market place, some folks believe it is a fear of open spaces but that isn't necessarily true, my own fear is the literal purpose, I can't go into crowded shops etc, my worst nightmare would be to be dropped off in the middle of Chinas busiest city, I would lately have to find a hole to crawl into. Best Answer: I'veee been housebound for 4 years with agoraphobia so I've not have a holiday for years...maybe 7 years or more. dea of taking your home or your comfort possesion with you is not a unpromising idea if you have the money to do so and people can support you pack.
