for the past month I have been have really odd and very detailed, vivid dreams. they arent always somthing horrible but recurrently times they are, and end up being horrible nightmares. as of about a week ago i own been having headaches along next to the dreams. has anyone else experienced something like this? any meds that work? any suggestions as of how to prevent such dreams?

instead of trying to make them go away. you should research them. what is your dream mostly in the region of. war? oceans? open water? look it up. it shows you alot of things. dont try pushing them away.for headache, take advil.

Well in my case I have like mad of nightmares and the worst is that I can remember all the details like it was a movie which kept me wake up couple of times in the night and I didn't understand why. I granted to buy a really comfortable pillow in case it was my current pillow since within the mornings I woke up with pain in my nouns and shoulders. I bought the tempur pedic pillow (the one that you put your hand and it marks on the pillow) and it really help me beside my nightmares. I fall sleep immediately and my nightmares have lessen like 90% and even when I have them they are mild. So maybe the rigidity that my pillow was giving to my body with my current stress, was giving me the nightmares. Hope this help!
