A grill in the order of copy of memo within mental robustness?
I have had a letter sent to me (mental health) and at the bottom it say Cc and then the name/address of my doctor and nurse. Does this mean they have be sent a copy too?
Thanks, is there anyway of requesting they don't get a copy? I just revulsion people knowing what is going on with me etc, i know it is my doctor and nurse but i feel i can't discuss things short them finding out! (if that makes sense)

Best Answer: As others own said it gets sent to the doctor as well. It does get sent at alike time, often it gets scanned and placed on their computer system or faxed through. Unfortunately in attendance in most cases you can't request them to get a copy, if it about treatment or mental robustness issues then they are things your doctor should be knowing. Psychiatrists notes of things like ill-treat etc, shouldn't be disclosed to your doctor without your permission. They can say if you are of singular risk but should divulge why. It is sometimes that the paper is prefootered with this information so you can always check whether it have been sent on to your doctor. Often I find, I have had several reports from crisis team and other mental health authorities, my doctor doesn't really read them very much he just glance over them, he always reads them in my prescence. You could ask to read over them next to the nurse or doctor if you want to make sure they don't get confused etc.
