Why do I consume so much over what others ponder of me? How do I stop it?


Best Answer: I wouldn't say I obsess over it but I worry habitually what others think of me so I know what you mean. I can't tell you how to stop it because Im contained by the same boat but here is somethings either I found on my own or just peers told me. If single I could use this advice for myself. Well the first thing we need is self-confidence. Those who paucity or have lower self-confidence tend to feel more insecure about themselves. We doubt ourselves and brand conclusions in our head over and over again that everyone is judging us within a negative way. We just enjoy to gain the attitiude of not caring what others think. Easier said than done. I beleive that it all have so do with self-confidence/self-esteem, and the higher we have of that, the happier we are next to our selves and the less we worry about what others consider. I think caring about what others regard A LITTLE bit or to a certain degree is normal and fine and keep us in check, but thinking about it too much to the point of worrying about it deeply or even obsessing over it isn't very healthy because you will solitary see the things we dont like about ourselves. From personal experience, I was once a self-assured person who was self-assured and had dignified self-esteem and was overall happy. Along with that, I never give a crap about what others thought of me. But along the way I becamse depressed, triggered by a life event. In a nutshell, I begin to lose my self-confidence and become unhappy with myself and everything. I had a harder time making friends and socializng because I worried too much going on for what others will think of me. Im in this situation right now so I can't provide you an answer on how to stop it because Im figuring that out for myself and working on it. But I can tell you that I believe that self-confidence, high self-esteem and adjectives that stuff all has to do with how we be aware of when it comes to other people thinking about us and we just enjoy to learn not to care. I am same way But you Know since i struggled so much and I created so many problems for my self.I don't assistance any more. I do think about it sometimes but now i do what ever is best for me . The answer to you problem is try to do what you dream up is good and don't care what people deliberate than you will get use to it. It is hard but it really helps you can not adjust if you don't want to change thankyou

Many people think this way because we want to consistency like we are being accepted by other relations. It is our ego that makes us obsess over if we're good adequate for other people or not, thus we are always trying to find a way to meeting others who we subconscious think are superior than us. This ends up in a never ending vicious cycle that with the sole purpose leads to depression, anger, jealousy, or some other self-destructive emotion, because it can never be achieve - it's only an illusion. But because most people are triggered by state of mind, the biggest one being fear inside, they will continue to fixate about what other people think of them and thus do anything they can to present themselves in the best way that they can, but at the end of the year, feeling a kind of pain inside. One instrument to stop obsessing over what others think is to simply not care. This doesn't expect being rude or arrogant to other people, it just mode that one is mature enough to accept anything that society say or think about them and be okay beside it, because they have completely accepted themselves as a person. If can't you adopt yourself as who you are - every part of yourself - than you'll find it difficult to get along with other individuals because you will constantly be thinking about what they think about you, and surrounded by essence, let them shape up your thinking, your personality, your behaviors, but ultimately who you are.

I don't know what is causing it. It may be a combination of insecurity, or doubt that Jesus forgave you completely. I know he forgave you, and you stipulation to get stronger in the Lord so this won't bother you. Just spend more time with him.
