Best Answer: I don't think the two are really comparable. Both are quite different. I feel PTSD is more self-tormenting than BiPolar, but BiPolar effects not only you, but everyone around you. I don't really think one is worse than the other. Unless you're comparing something like OCD or Anxiety to Schizophrenia or DID, consequently I really don't think there is a "this is more severe than that" scale within mental illnesses.
