OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder)?
Do OCD and ASD coincide? My sister be diagnosed beside ASD a few years ago but just this minute, she have developed strange rituals such as wash her college uniform (blazer and tie included) every sunshine as soon as she get home from university and doing indistinguishable events after academy. If she isn't competent to mop up her clothes (for example, someone else's clothes are contained by the wash machine), she become distressed and wash her clothes surrounded by the bathroom sink. She become massively agressive near everyone and some of her routine is worrying. Today, she be going to try to burn her university uniform (until I took the lighter away from her), purely because she couldn't rinse out it at that moment within time. I tried to inform her that her conservatory uniform isn't dirty and she doesn't necessitate to bath her institution blazer every sunshine but she doesn't come across to understand/be listen. Has anyone else experienced this beside a child/adult near ASD and does anyone enjoy any tips for dealing beside this type of routine?
