what is this smell in recent times Curious?
I am not squeamish around the deceased...I have handled a few over the years..I am looking into studying Mortuary Services contained by the near future...But i was wondering what this smell is
(its not decomposed flesh)
My Uncle Passed a week ago I be at his bed side holding his hand when i got home i could smell a stale cream smell on my hands...after his body was prepared and we had a viewing Last Friday held my hands over his surrounded by the casket for the service..again my hands had that stale cream smell..I just picked up his Urn today and placed it within a room in my home when i finished...I scratched my nose and could again smell the stale cream...
I refer to it as Stale Cream smell because its not fragrant like a body moisturizer or a flower/fruity smell..
the smell be on my hands before his body was prepared (embalmed)
