cataract surgery sound out - please sustain!?
My grandma just had surgery about a week ago, and we be told that she should avoid water exposure to the eye. She has done that, but we're wondering when it's okay to start showering normally again, minus concern of water getting into her eye. She has also been protecting her eye against sunlight, and I take to mean this is all part of the recovery procedure. Approximately how long does it thieve for the eye to recover, and most importantly when is it okay for her eye to be exposed to water? Any help appreciated - thankfulness in advance!

Every forgiving is different and every doctor has different post-op instructions according to his patient's condition and the procedure that was done.. She should have received a tabloid from her doctor telling her what she could and couldn't do after surgery. If she didn't get this paper, phone the doctor's office and ask for it. : )
