How can I catch medical insurance for myself while I'm living near my bf?
My boyfriend and I recently had a baby and presently live together. At my work, they don't offer medical insurance cause they're a small business just getting started, so the state took protection of it for me through my whole pregnancy. After I had my baby, I have to reapply again for medical for the both of us. On the application, u have to state whether or not ur living with anyone, and if u get outside sustain from anyone. Of course her Daddy helps out so i had to write down how much income he makes. He make quite a bit more than I do since I'm only working part time produce of child care expenses. Because of HIS income, my application was denied. My daughters was not, thank God. Now I find out I entail a surgery on my cervix before it becomes cancerous and I can't afford it. I'm extremely frustrated cause he could only just leave me tomorrow and I would never see another dime of his money. I don't think it's fair effect he's not the one getting the medical if they approve me but it's his income that they're going off of. Now I have to suffer the consequences. I already looked into a payment plan for the surgery but we cannot afford it. I'm out of option at this point. So if there is any knowledgeable people out nearby on medical insurance in the state of Wa. lemme know!
