Possible bug bite infection, what to do?
I am pretty sure it was a mosquito even though I did not see it bite me but I scratched the bite and now I think it is infected. The skin around the bite is red and a moment or two bit swollen and itches like crazy. What can I do to treat the infection, besides going to the doctors? Is a triple antibiotic cream good enough (like the cheap text of Neosporen)?

Best Answer: have you never been bitten by a mosquito before? alrite follow these steps within order. 1. Dont scratch it anymore no matter how much it itches. 2. find some anti itch spray and spray. if step 2 doesnt work and you own a RLLY bad itch follow step number threee 3. find some numbing stuff and put it on the bite. its red cause its irritated not infected. most importantly dont scratch it, itll travel away faster if you leave it alone.
