Any tips for a 16 yo boy who requirements to become an anesthesiologist?
Is it a good job? Whats the training like to become one? What classes should i be focusing on for High School/College? Are within different types?
Best Answer: First of all, specialty choice comes near the end of med college. The real question is whether or not you want to be a physician, because that's what anesthesiologists are. All physicians need a college scope, and then 4 years in med school. Residency is another 4 yrs higher than that. For now, if you want to be a physician, work on getting excellent grades and doing well in science, although it is considerable to do well in every class. As for subspecialties of anesthesiology, THAT is something you think just about at the end of your residency - and that would be about 14 years from now for you.
