Best Answer: The main grounds why people faint is because they don't have adequate oxygen going to their brain. They might not be able to breathe properly or enough, or if they faint of shock it's because the blood drains from their go before making lose consciousness for a few seconds. Therefore if they can get some oxygen into their brain again they should recover pretty summarily.
