Should my boyfriend be capable of jump on time off 2 weeks after have a tonsillectomy?
I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 22. we've been dating for 3 years. We plan on going on vacation to the beach within 12 days and he had his tonsils taken out a week ago, so by the time vacation gets here it will be over 2 weeks since his tonsillectomy. The dr. said he should be better contained by 2 weeks. He's on an all liquid diet now, but by the time time off gets here he'll just be getting back on solid food. His mom said he wouldn't know how to go if he wasn't completely better by then. So for anyone who has any culture about tonsillectomy's, do you think he'll be able to shift to the beach with me?
Best Answer: He should be able to. He purely shouldn't eat things he knows he can't tolerate yet. No rationale why he can't go to the beach. And... if he's 22 and mom's saying he can't walk if he's not completely better, then you've got other issues on your hands! He's a big boy and he know his own body better than anybody so if he feels up to it, then Go, have a dutiful time.
