Why do I hold horrific dreams?
My dreams are always about extreme blood gore violence breakdown and death. They don't scare me or do i consider them nightmares. They are very disturbing and but I cannot figure out why I constantly have them. Am I becoming insane or mentally ill? Can sleep deprivation, apopnea or apnea explanation this? I also see some of this stuff during the school year when i only get 4 or smaller number hours of sleep a night.

It sounds as though sleep deprivation can rationale nightmares for you. Memorize a poem, piece of scripture, or literary piece which is meaningful to you. As you go to sleep, repeat this passage to yourself.
