How to run faster.?!! 10 points for best answer!!?
I run hershey track, and i am defenitly a sprinter.
but, i still need to be faster. What can i do? Any tips?
oh and also, when doing long distance, how should i run that?

Best Answer: you have to gain one on one time with a coach...or if you feel that you are capable of training yourself, I would freshly have a friend come with you to train on your own. 1. practice doing short bursts out of the blocks (the most important entity for sprinters, especially those that run the 100, is the blocks)...you need to make sure you have that down brimming with...your first few steps your head should be down and you should slowly begin to elevate it as you sprint ahead. 2. when you do your short bursts, try to run at least 40 meters...figure your time each time you do it...the reason that it is wise to do 40s is that at roughly 40 meters you should be at your full out sprint speed. 3. if you have access to an elliptical cardio machine, USE IT! this is a awfully important element that I have discovered help increase speed. 4. stay hydrated, alway always always stretch and rest before big events. Also the guidance that deven gave is very important too...i used to use adjectives of those sources as well.
