Question in the order of my healthcare insurance.?
I have the empire plan through my husbands policy.He works as a correction officer for the state of NY.Im wondering if anyone has this insurance through the state also??If so do you know if you need referral to see specialists?I need to see a neurologist for my migraines and a orthopedist for an old wrist injury.Would i need referral for these or does it depend on the doctor.I just dont wanna end up getting billed for the visits if i dont hold a referral.I also didnt really wanna call the insurance company cuz its like an hr long call for a simple cross-examine.Can i find the answer maybe on the website or something?
