Is it safe and sound for me to suntan?

I live in the NorthWest, so we don't get too many sunny days, but seeing as summer's nearing, it's getting nicer and nicer out. Due to a combination of living surrounded by an area where it's overcast a whole lot and Irish/Swiss perspective, I'm really pale. But I'll be mowing the lawn today for several hours, and wondering if exposing my skin to the sun to get a bit of a suntan is safe? I recently read that you should where sunblock every single hours of daylight of the year, applying it several times each day! That just sounds ridiculous? Oh, I plan on wearing some sunblock today, it's newly from all the news lately it sounds like we involve to hole ourselves up inside to avoid skin cancer. Lol.
Best Answer: You don't need to apply sunblock several times a day. It's recommended only if you jump in the water. But you should check the SPF on the sunblock. For instance, a sunblock with 15+ SPF funds you could theoretically stay in the sun for 150 minutes without getting the bad for you effects of UV rays. 30+ means 300 minutes, 60+ means 600 minutes, and so on. Be sure to also check which UV rays the sunblock will protect, because there are also different types of UV rays (UVA, UVB, etc.). As for your blond skin, you will definitely burn much easier than a person with dark toned skin. The risk for skin cancer is greater in lighter skinned people too. It all have to do with the amount of melanoma in your skin tone. Darker skinned people hold a lower chance for skin cancer, while lighter skinned people are more at risk for skin cancer. If you want to tan, I would recommend getting within the sun little by little to decrease the risk of a nasty sun burn. Sunblock usually inhibits your skin from tanning, so I would also recommend buying sun-tan lotion, which will help you suntan while protecting you from skin cancer/nasty wrinkles/discolorations on your skin in the future. If you need a sunburn asap and don't want to wait hours in the sun to tan, I would recommend a spray sunburn. Plain and simple. May cost a little more, but it is a safe alternative to getting a tan from the sun. Good luck!

Question just about Kegels?

light is a undulation just like a lot of other things, such as radio signals and color race go crazy about it because there are elements similar to uranium that give off waves and self exposed to a strong wave too much could be bad but going out in the sun for the few hours approaching you are describing shouldn't be that bad at all. A suggestion would be to go out nice of early or a little late within the day so you don't get the direct rays of the sun. If you start getting burnt feebly then you will have to lesson the amount of time outside without sunblock

is it fruitless to hang on to switching...

Tanning is not undisruptive for anyone! Your skin tone will also make you very likely to burn a bit than get tan. Everyone should wear sunblock whenever they will be in the sun for a long term of time regardless of their skin tone. Not doing so can cause sun damage and it can even lead to skin cancer. When using sun block you should reapply. How tons days of the year you wear it depends on the conditions you live in and whether or not you spend a lot of time outside. With your skin tone you probably can't even get a suntan if you were to try and if don't wear sun block you will get a really bad burn and it will not be a fun evening.

If you get sun exposure solely do it in the mourning to ealy afternoon. That is the best time to get your vitamin D levels up which can help prevent skin cancer. Or late afternoon is good too. But never in the warmness of the day with no sun block. Good luck. Source http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7875140
