Anyone take or have taken Seroquel?
My husband be just this minute diagnosed w/ bipolar, manic depressive disorder (which i do not agree with)
Anyhoo, he is currently contained by an outpatien rehab program for alochol invective. He met w/ a counselor in attendance who come to that assumption. She prescribed him Seroquel.
He took a 50mg pill this morning when he arrived to rehab. I of late spoke to him on the phone and he be not himself at adjectives. I asked him how he feel and he said the single bearing to describe it be "'d up."
So my sound out to everyone is own you or anyone you know taken the drug Seroquel? What are some of the side effects and how long do they final? I already geared up what they have to read aloud on wikipedia, but I am looking for some material answers from citizens w/ personal experience.

Answers: i took seroquel regularly as subdivision of a mood-stabilizing regimen - but presently i embezzle it individual as a sleep aid after realize the stout drowsiness that accompany use. not a fruitless side-effect, imo. i enjoy also tried zyprexa, lamictal, abilify - and others. zyprexa give me the the weirdest hallucination ive ever experienced, lamictal turned me into a zombie and abilify have me going resembling i of late took 10 sudafed. anyway, to answer the request for information... i love seroquel, but i wouldnt clutch it during the daytime or if my attention is required for more than 15-20 minutes after ingestion :)
If you two do not agree beside the diagnosis, find a second inference NOW!!
My husband be diagnosed next to bipolar disorder several years until that time I met him, he be prescribed Seroquel and individual took it a couple times. He said it made him have a feeling newly wrong. He never question the diagnosis beside the doctor because he didn't expect he could. It screwed us big time when we be applying for vigour insurance ending year. No insurance company would touch him because of that diagnosis. He get a second judgment and they said he have ADHD (we both agree on that one!) and at the time be suffering from a bout of depression. Apparently the untested diagnosis be because of his generally hyper nature combined next to some trouble he get into beside alcohol.
