oblige! im disturbed! girls i involve ur minister to!?

i need to know what they do at the gynecologist! like the breast and pelvic exam! make it tremendously detailed! and do u have to take ALL of your clothes off? please lend a hand!
Best Answer: I know that going the first time can be very nerve wracking. Don't worry, it's something that EVERY woman have to go through, and eventually it becomes as routine as getting your teeth cleaned! First of all, don't be embarassed. The doctor, or gynocologyst see this hundreds of times a week, and to them you're a short time ago another patient. I know taking your clothes off in front of a complete stranger seem odd, but you're doing it in a business environment, and they are trying to help you to bring in sure that everything is okay. Generally, you wait in the room for the doctor to come in. They will sit down next to you and ask you questions about your lifestyle, whether or not you're sexually active, smoke, etc. It's amazingly important to answer these questions honestly. I know it might be embarassing, but don't worry. The information that you release to the doctor is stictly confidential and will not be given to anyone else or your parents. Once the "interview" is over, she will endow with you a robe that you have to change into. If you're getting a pap smear, you will need to remove adjectives of you're clothing. If it's just a regular check up with a breast exam, then going away your bottoms on will be okay. You usually put the robe on so that it ties in the front. Then you sit on the examining table, and wait for the doctor to return. It's a little intimidating and mortified at first, but they're usually pretty good about making you feel comfortable, and you of late have to keep reminding yourself that this is their job and they do this adjectives the time! For the breast exam, then will keep your body covered and ask you to lay down and raise one arm above your go before. They will expose one breast at a time, and they just feel around for any lumps. The whole breast exam take about 2 minutes. Once they're finished with one breast, they will cover it up and go to the other side. It's extremely easy, and quick. So don't worry around that! For the pap smear, they doctor will usually give you a white sheet that you place over your knees when you lay back so that you're not completely out in the friendly. The first thing they will normally do is inspect the outside of your vagina. The reason for this is to breed sure that you don't have any STD's and to make sure that everything looks "normal" The second step, they usually will put lubricant on their finger and insert it into the vagina. What they're trying to do here is feel for anything that might be anomalous inside the vagina (lumps, etc) Sometimes they will push on your tummy with the other hand to get a better quality. That lasts about 30-45 seconds and thats considered the pelvic exam. It's terrifically quick! The last part of the exam is the pap smear. This is when they use an instument call a speculum. I'm not sure if you've ever seen one or not, but you can google is and it will show you an image. Its a plastic thing that they insert into the vagina, and consequently once it's in all the way they will start on it (not a lot only 1/2 inch or something) and it has a fluffy at the end. They use this to look at the cervix and make sure that nothing looks out of the ordinary. Then they take a thing thats similar to a cotton swab, and they just brush it along the cervix a few times to collect some cell. This is a little uncomfortable, but doesn't hurt. It only last about 15 seconds to swab. Once they are finished with the swab they will put the cell they got into a container that will be sent off to a lab for testing for irregular cells. They will then remove the speculum, and you're exam is over! The whole entity probably takes about 15 minutes. If you don't feel comfortable beside your doctor, make sure you ask for another one the next time you return. I've always feel more comfortable with a female doctor, so perhaps you should start beside that. Just keep reminding yourself that this is for your own health, and once it's over you will feel so much better, I promise! And not a soul loves going to get a pap smear, but it definitely becomes like mad easier once you get used to the whole process. It takes something like a week to get the results from your doctor, but if you wish to be tested for STD's and HPV make sure that you let somebody know your doctor. Usually that will require a blood test. If you're not at that stage in your life next don't worry about it! Hope this helps somewhat, if you have anymore questions, please ask =)

Answer:

what could motive a runny Discharge?

Don't be nervous! first you walk in and they take your weight and blood pressure and ask the year of your last period. You take past its sell-by date all your clothes and put on a gown with the opening to the front. Have a form on the little exam table and cover yourself with a paper blanket. The doc will come in and dispense you a breast exam, it is just like a self exam she/he just feel for any lumps. They will usually press down on your stomach too, The the internal exam first they will usually feel around in your uterus with their finger and check things out. Next comes that entry (forgot the name) that holds you open, they insert that and it spreds you open (picture putting your index and middle fnger in together afterwards spreding them apart once in) then they use this little brush thing and do the pap smear. After that you are all done. It is a short time uncomfortable but it doesn't hurt. Good luck!

What BC pill should i use subsequent?

Well i was 16 when i had my first exam and i concede it wasn't a full exam because i was still young and not sexually active. i be nevouse all the same though but all that happen was i got undressed and into a hospital gown and the doc came surrounded by and explained everything and then i just had to lounge on the exam table so she could do a scan (internally) with something that looks like a thin white stick, she pressed my stomach asked me question and the did a sonar scan. The breast exam i had done was one she showed me hoe to do at home for myself she also did a scan on my breasts i suppose to check that everything was developing economically.all was fine she even made i few jokes to help out me relax, so in future i won't put my exam off because i know its not as unpromising as i thought. here check this out it helped alot! http://www.firstvisit.co.za/
