Hi, The secret to getting blood out is to soak and wash it surrounded by cold water not hot (which would set the stain) and to use biological stain remover or washing powder. It will say this on the sticky label, and probably mention that it's good for blood, food etc. Ideally, soak it with a stain remover in a pudding basin, applying the stain remover to both sides of the stain. Give it a bit of a rub. Do this a few times. Then rinse it out, (or put it through a wash in the machine beside biological liquid/powder if you've got a load that needs to budge on). It is a bit harder to do once it's dry - it's good to rinse them under the cold tap when you pocket them off. You can also spit on them as your saliva also has enzymes that start to break up blood stains!
