COPPER I.U.D. birth control?
I hate birth control pills, was on them forever already. I dont trust using just condoms...so i be thinking about the copper I.U.D. but i seriously have only read horrifying things roughly it. anyone out there that can share your experiences with me...greatly appreciated. thanks!
Best Answer: Well, it's a great method if you: want ten to twelve years of worry-free pregnancy protection, don't mind getting your common periods, wouldn't mind possibly having crampier/heavier periods, and come across the criteria for having a uterus fit for the IUD [it just has to be big enough]. I know of abundantly of women who LOVE their copper IUD. It's effective as soon as it's inserted! I myself have the hormonal one [Mirena] and so far I love it.
