shaving my armpits downwards.give a hand please.?
okay, i just asked a question about which directions you can shave your armpits, capably i just shaved them downwards, i usually shave them up, but it sort of hurt when i went downwards...why?
Best Answer: it really depends on the way your hair are growing. If there pointing downward then shave downward. It probably hurt to go down because you weren't used to it. Keep shaving them up, there's really no difference and since you are already used to it it shouldn't be a problem.

razor burn or going against the hair could agitate it sometimes because the hair is usually thicker contained by the armpit area than say your leg hair. I dunno nearly why it hurt going downwards. Arm pit hair grows in all different directions...I shave mine up and down and from the side. Just use plenty of shaving cream or conditioner.
