Period cramps to the point of throwing up?
I'm having really bad cramps from my period and maintain throwing up. They started early this morning (around 5am) and haven't stopped. I've taken pain killer, but I maintain throwing it up. I've never had cramps so painful before. They step in waves of pain and they sort me feel like I'm going to faint. Any proposal on what I can do to help?
Best Answer: I used to have cramps to the point of throwing up a lot and I believe it be from a combination of the pain and taking pain relievers on an empty stomach since the cramps made me not want to munch through anything. When I was starting highschool my mom finally took me to a gyno who prescribed me birth control and my cramps have been a thousand times better since. I'm very soon taking seasonale so besides the period/cramps being a million times better I only get 4 a year!

Answer: You may be unlucky & own the flu on top of your period. What pain killer are you using? Ibuprofen & Naproxen are preferred for menstrual pain. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is not as good, but it's easier on the stomach. Aspirin well aid pain, but it will increase your flow since it's an anti-clotting agent as well. You may need to see a Doctor/Gyno. My daughter faint once at school due to cramps, so bad pain happen.
