Swimming...time of year...dilemma!?Please support urgent!?
I started my period again today...awesome..and i've never ever used tampons, don't have access to any either..and i'm going swimming near friends in about 4 hours..guys will be there, including two of my ex boyfriends. I'm 16 btw. anyways, could I wear underwear next to a pad and then bathing suit bottoms and then shorts over that? is that ok? ahhh i'm freaking out. what do i do?
also what if i settle on not to go swimming and i'm just sittin by and someone throws me in the pool, is that ok if i go and get right out?
Best Answer: pad + water = gross. maybe get hold of a slender tampon and try to expiriment with them. they are simple. other than that i wouldnt go swimming...

Yes, you could do that, but would you want to swim wearing shorts? I once, hear that ONCE, wore a pad swimming. When I got out of the ocean, it be hanging out of my bathing suit. So embarrassing. You won't bleed in the marine. I would wear what ever you have TP, whatever, right until you are about to stir in. Then take it out. Right when you get out, run and achieve your supplies. If I were you, I'd just stay dry.

NO! do not use a pad! I did once and it was so desperate i leaked like crazy, the pad doesn't stop your time of year at all. you need to any wear a tampon or not get in the water. a wad will just absorb the water and everything else will slick everywhere (which would be very embarrassing). run to the store and get a box (or ask a friend for some) every box comes with directions.. its really unproblematic, you just need to relax. just a tip: take plastic applicator (NOT cardboard), they are easier to use.How can I buy...?
