I newly put surrounded by my first tampon.. EVER?
and took it out 5 minutes later, it scared me. I know I sound similar to a baby but I do NOT like it one bit, exspecially the inserting part. I be freaking out while removing it to, because it was coming out so slow I thought it was stuck! Is this normal for a 13 year matured girl..? To be scared of them.
Best Answer: The ones with plastic applicators *definitely* make things easier for girls who've never used tampons up to that time... but once you know how, anything that's comfortable to wear will be easy to insert. If you do it properly and insert the tampon far enough, it won't hurt to insert one and you won't really be able to have a feeling it while wearing it. My stepdaughter began using them without problems for her second period, freshly 3 months after her 11th birthday. Helpful advice (beyond the semi-useless package directions)? Yeah... just three things: 1) Aim the tampon more towards your fund than upwards... your vagina actually goes *back* for more than half of its length, not a moment ago up, and it's almost parallel to the floor if you're sitting on the john... and push it gently (twisting it back and forth a bit might help it slide more easily) as far contained by as the applicator will go while you're still holding the end of it. Push the plunger in while holding the cask in place, then let walk of the plunger and withdraw the applicator. 2) It'll be easier to do the first time if things are slippery "down there", so don't wipe away any blood and stuff until you've got the tampon in place. If there's outstandingly little blood there, just smear a couple of drops of saliva on the tip of the tampon (or its applicator if it has one) and it'll put together things a lot more comfortable. 3) Relaxation is **important**. If relaxing isn't easy for you, try pushing just a touch bit as if you're trying to poop or pee... your pelvic muscles will relax a bit and that will help a *lot*. It's something you have to gain used to. Personally, I used them when I was 12 with no problems, I never really even felt it within there. people simply dislike them, but sometimes a tampon is just necessary. Of course its normal to be scared of putting in a tampon for the first time.Im 13 and i be a little scared but i put it in and it be fine...You will get used to them.It only took me a few days to get used to them.They really can't capture "stuck" but it may feel like it. The tampon was probably not soaked ample of menstrual fluid so it was hard to take out. I know when i don't inevitability to take the tampon out because when its dry it hurts me to pull it out. If you have plenty tampons practice near them. Just don't practice if you are not on your period. Don't leave your tampon in to long freshly when you go to check it just slightly pull on the string and if it moves well then its ready to come out. It is absolutely normal for a 13 year hoary girl. We all have this experience. I will give you a couple of suggestions that should relief. When you are inserting it, do it standing up. It makes it much easier. If you use a tampon that has a plastic inserter it glides in much easier. To back it not hurt, glide it up higher than you think it should progress. The higher it is, the more comfortable it will be. It is supposed to be past the muscles that are at the entrance in the vagina, and up against the cervix. The basis it felt "stuck" is because it was dry. Once the tampon absorbs more moisture it will soar out. When its time to put in a new one, just verbs on the string and flush. You will be suprised how easy it will be. If getting the tampon up high doesnt help, consequently try another brand. Personally for me, Tampax brand is uncomfortable, but my some of my friends like that brand. I would definitely progress with the plastic first (I use Playtex brand). Try putting a little water or a lubricant call K-Y Jelly on the outside plastic--makes it glide in easily. They own it at Walmart, drug Store, or grocery store. You won't need the K-Y Jelly once you get used to using them. It's just something that will relieve you get started. It's just plain scary to put something inside your body for the first time. But once you catch the hang of it, you will be so glad you have this option. You can't swim near a pad. You can swim with a tampon. There are many more advantages that I won't discuss here.
