Period probelms. what is this?
ok, in my pad there is this stringy black or DARK red stringy stuff its approaching an inch long but like really stringy and dark. what is this? is it ok? im on my period and i havent see this yet...

Sorry that was gross eww lol anyways, umm I experienced this a short time while back, and ive had my period since i be like 12 (I'm 16 now). I kind freaked because I thought there be something wrong with me. But my mom said that the blood can like 'clot' or something. So there's nothing wrong. I surmise that just builds up if you have your pad on overnight for exaple and it stays surrounded by the same place. But I'm not really sure. So yes its ok, there's nothing wrong :)

tottaly ok! Happens to every woman! It's the placenta inside layer from your uterus! It has to flush out every time you have a period, So expect it every time! It will be depressing coloredand stringy like u said, don't freak out, it's just cleaning out yur system!

Totally majority! I have had a period since I be 14..so 15 years now oh wow I feel old..anyways sometimes you will see that and sometimes you won't and to this daytime It still grosses me out when I have that, but it is just thick/clotted blood or part of your uterus pool liner. Don't worry it is completely normal. I have have some pretty heavy periods in my go and when they are really heavy it can be pretty gross. Times when I've basically gagged and can't look.
