Me and my boyfriend had sex and the condom possibly split .. could i start on th the pill which would then prevent pregnacy .. ?

Best Answer: No one should say your naive, you used a condom and it wasnt your failure. But no that wouldnt work and it takes about 2 week or the whole pack of pills to in actuality start to be work. I would go to boots or a pharmacy and ask for the morning after pill, from boots it should be free but from a pharmacy they will be aorund 20 pound. The sooner you take it the better it will work, they work for for upto three days (72 hours) after conception. If it has be longer then this then you will have to see if your pregnant. x

No, starting the normal contraceptive pill will not stop a possible pregnancy. The only means of access you can be sure this didn't get you pregnant is by taking the morning after pill, which you can get from the chemist/pharmacy now. This solitary works if you had sex in the last 2 days though, if it be longer than 2 days & the condom split then there is nothing you can do going on for it, other than wait & see if you're pregnant.
