Where can you find strange bra sizes? This might go and get long.?
Does anyone else think bra sizing is weird? Why don't they make any larger decoration sized bras for people with smaller boobs? It's like they infer you can't be a larger person but be small up top. You can easily find a 42 DDD but finding a 42A is impossible...
Here is my problem. I am a 40-42 bandsize. I would like to find a bra, the gentle I will refer to as a hard bra (I don't know how to explain what I mean but the cup is made out of a harder foam or whatever. Like this: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8342451
But I dream up I would need like an a cup because whenever I do find the rare 40b, I would try it on but the cup is route too huge on me. If I put a, let's say 32 C up to my boob, it seems like it would fit perfectly--this doesn't gross sense! Shouldn't the cup be the same size regardless of how big the band is?
Anyway, I wear a 40 C in a soft cup bra (soft classification it's like a sports bra in the cup--just loose fabric) which is a little big on me but it's the best fitting bra I can find.
So where on earth can you find really weird sizes at an affordable price and preferablly not online somewhere? Can anyone help or at least answer a few of the question I asked throughout this question. Also, what is the correct terminology when talking roughly 'hard and soft cups'? It takes me forever to explain what I mean when I do try to ask other inhabitants. Thanks all!

Best Answer: Firstly, i'm sorry to say that I have NO hypothesis where you could find such a bra, for one I don't know where you live and even if I did I doubt i'd be of much help but I do want to vote I feel your pain somewhat, i'm one of the 'bigger girls', but i'm also have significant breasts, even so I find it difficult to find a bra with the padded cup, I cannot stand soft cups at all, I don't wear them but they're more commonly around surrounded by my size than nice looking padded cups, it's so frustrating that for larger girls the options around are not as nice looking as the smaller bras, and not to mention they get more expensive, though I am lucky satisfactory to have found a store where I live (Australia) that has, cheap affordable bras within my size that also look nice (Rather than a basic plain colour). I'm sorry I was no help at adjectives, but I just wanted to let you know that I get the message what trouble you must have.

They do make bras resembling that but they do not make a lot of it. Even though most women are wearing the wrong bra size, I don't think within is a big enough market for people beside "weird" bra sizes like you and me. My situation is exactly the opposite of yours. My band size is 28-30 and my cup size is G! Only a select few specialty stores market my size. First off, find the nearest specialty bra store in your area (do a google search) and go and get properly fitted. If they don't have your size, you would have no choice but to order online. Check www.brastop.com, www.figleaves.com, and www.bravissimo.com Also remember that when you turn down a band size, the cup size goes up. When you go down a cup size the belt size must go up...it's an inverse relationship. This explains why 32c seems to fit you...you went down a cup size so your tie size went up. I believe a "soft cup" is the correct terminology. A "hard cup" might be duplicate as a t-shirt bra. Either way, good luck!
