Hymen Question??
Hi people i was just wondering if anyone could aid me by telling me how to know weather your hymen's ther or not. When i look in the bathroom mirror i see a hole with these white stuff and it's not resembling a half moon underneath it, it just a big hole there abet is it there or not
Best Answer: The hymen is not white. It is pink like the rest of it. But it is a thin flap of skin surrounding the vagina. Some are not a partly moon. Most are but some a piece of string-like skin down the middle. Some are full circle, some are a piece of skin with several holes in it, and rarely it covers the hymen (but if this be so it would have been taken care of as a child because you wouldn't not be capable of get menstrual fluid through it). Some are born without it. Below are some diagrams of the hymen and it's different shapes. PS: The hymen is at the OPENING to the vagina, not inside so yes you will be able to see it.

Have you have sex? If so then no your hymen is gone. If you have not had sex afterwards it probably is still there unless you use sex toys. Try to find pictures online.

There are no nerves within it so you wouldn't notice if it broke naturally. Your doctor can tell you for sure if it's still near.
