Is it true that if you start your period when your 10 or whatever you have a destiny of getting Breast Cancer?
My mom told me that, shes been researching a lot about Breast Cancer.
So is it true that you can enjoy a higher chances of getting Breast Cancer?
I got mine when I be 10 so I'm like kinda worried lol :P
Best Answer: yeah the more exposure you have to estrogen, the higher your risk. so if youre on the pill or own your period at an earlier age and so have it for longer than average, next you have more exposure to this hormone. remember estrogen protects against other cancers and also atherosclerosis (artery problems which can give you heart attacks) so within are benefits as well!
