when you go swimming with your period, minus a tampon, does it stop? does the flow stop? what happens when you get out? please help, near your own personal experiences. i have heard so many different things. please answer my ask!

umm.... i went swimming only just now with a heavy flow, and it seem to stop in the water for at least an hour. so, is every girl's flow different?

The ones with plastic applicators *definitely* produce things easier for girls who've never used tampons before... but once you know how, anything that's comfortable to wear will be easy to insert. If you do it properly and insert the tampon far enough, it won't hurt to insert one and you won't really be capable of feel it while wearing it. My stepdaughter began using them without problems for her second interval, just 3 months after her 11th birthday. Helpful advice (beyond the semi-useless package directions)? Yeah... newly three things: 1) Aim the tampon more towards your back than upwards... your vagina actually goes *back* for more than partially of its length, not just up, and it's almost parallel to the floor if you're sitting on the john... and push it gently (twisting it back and forth a bit might backing it slide more easily) as far in as the applicator will go while you're still holding the end of it. Push the plunger within while holding the barrel in place, then permit go of the plunger and withdraw the applicator. 2) It'll be easier to do the first time if things are slippery "down there", so don't wipe away any blood and stuff until you've got the tampon contained by place. If there's very little blood there, just smear a couple of drops of saliva on the tip of the tampon (or its applicator if it have one) and it'll make things a lot more comfortable. 3) Relaxation is **important**. If relaxing isn't easy for you, try pushing in recent times a little bit as if you're trying to poop or pee... your pelvic muscles will relax a bit and that will help a *lot*. although dampen DOES stop your period flow [ever noticed this in the shower?] i would NOTT recommend swimming lacking a tampon while on your period.. first of all, it takes for a while while for your body to realize that its in water, soo before you achieve in the pool/when you first get in the pool, you will most possible be bleeding through. if you are on one of your last days where your flow is slim to none, then you should be fine. unsophisticatedly it all depends on your flow and what day youre on.. if you have a heavily built flow then it might take awhile to stop [if it even stops]. also if you have a cumbersome flow probably within a few minutes of you getting out you'll start bleeding again [again, if you even stopped in the first place]. with a wispy flow, it might take like a half hour on average for you to start again, if anything. sometimes when you hold a reallllly light flow and go in the dampen, it ends completely, or until the next day. so yeah id primarily recommend just trying a tampon or not going swimming at alll. its not worth the embarrassment or the grossness.What does spotting for something like 7 days...
