how long does breakthrough bleeding ultimate when my girlfriend take contraceptive Pills?
well the docter gave my girlfriend 3months worth of pills and she has taken her first months packet within that month she has had breakthrough bleeding and i wanna know how long does breakthrough bleeding take till the blood stops coming out, i really wanna no a rough time when she will stop because everytime we enjoy sex the blood is always coming out on my comdon and i am getting sick and tired of it but i still want her to take the pill

Best Answer: do you mean she have the bleeding during the month, or during her placebo week? If it was during the placebo week, it shouldn't be more than about 5 days or so. if you mean it's be going on all month through the active pills, and still happening on her second pack, she should travel back to the doctor to talk about it. This can come to pass to some women when first starting the pill but as it's been going on for a while she should go back and deliberate about changing types.
