I'm 14 (girl) and my mom will NOT tolerate me shave?
This always has me wearing long pants surrounded by 90 deg. weather and always has me skipping out on the pool parties w/ my friends...
Is anyone contained by this situation as well? i'm bothered by it a lot, but i just want to know if it's only just fine for other women to go around w/ shorts and leg hair.

Sit your mom down and confer to her about it! Tell her what you just told us! If she's worries about adjectives yourself with the razors-tell her about nair and veet and how they're razor-free! Dont just vote "everyone's doing it" tell her how embrassed you are about it and beg for her to tolerate you do it. Honestly my mom doesnt mind wearing capris w/leg hair but I find it disgusting! No one's said anything but give this a go to your mom.
i woulds have your legs, you could be made fun of for this. If your mom will not agree to you shave, then just use her razor short her knowing, or go buy yourself one. Or use nair or something. your mom should let you shave if you have leg down. Good luck
i was just about to start glorious school when my mom let me shave. i always have log leg hair. i would wear shorts all the time. honestly no one really care if you have hairy legs or not. my cousin would make fun of me but after again it was my cousin and i made fun of her for her buggy glasses. just lotion your legs and the fuzz won't stand out and go out with you head held big. it doesn't matter what people think of you. cuz guess what? they are worrying to much around what you think of them to think about you. so don't verbs about it. if someone does make fun of you then they are insecure and looking to gross themselves feel better. trust me. i was always the one stepped on and made fun of at arts school. so every time someone made fun of me you know what i did? i would do something that was a lot more embarrassing and titter at myself and i got a bunch of people to laugh next to me and then the one who made fun of me wasn't so big and scary. no one will spot your legs. give them a reason to always look at your frontage. don't skip out on life because of hair. its really stupid. go swim and wear shorts. own a fun summer.
id say a short time ago shave. dont mention it to your mom, just do it. she may notice, she may not. and wen and if she does, just put in the picture her. be like "mom, my legs are fricken hairy. im not dealin with that. its crushing. im sorry. " something like that. but if youd rather not worry around disobeying your mom, then dont shave. wear shorts and dont worry about your leg quill. whichever you feel more comfortable with.

Why isn't she letting you shave? It's a natural part of a girl growing up. I assume that if she won't agree to you shave that she won't let you wax or anything like that. I had duplicate problem with my mom when I was your age! I think shaving is a small milestone of parenthood and growing up and perhaps your mom isn't ready to let you grow up only yet... Or perhaps your mom is a hippie like mine and is against the concept of shaving! ;p Either route, you're not a baby anymore and there is nothing wrong beside shaving! Try approaching your mom and letting her know that you would like to go to pool parties and wear shorts when it's hot and that you would similar to to start shaving your legs. Let her know that you would feel self conscious and run the risk of getting teased if you wear revealing clothing with unshorn legs.
