Is the pill coupled to mood swings and depression?
I've been taking microgynon for 10months now and have be suffering from the most incredible mood swings and just feeling depressed and numb all the time. I wondered if this could be associated to the pill?
I don't want to stop taking it completely because I am sexually active and not ready for pregnancy. Plus condoms are a pain. Does anyone else own problems with it and could anyone suggest any alternatives?
Best Answer: It is possible. I had to stop taking it because it gave me thrush and cystitis adjectives the time :-\ One of my friends mentioned she had an implant and said it was really devout. I guess just ask what non-hormonal contraception you can use and the doctors will help you.

It could very well be down to the Pill. But there are plenty of other brands out here you can try. Some pills work for some women and can have awful side effects for others - it's simply a matter of finding the right one for you. Go back to the doctor and request a correct of pill and you'll be fine :-)

Yes they are I had the same issue near Yaz and Junel. And Yaz was supposed to help with that stuff! Now I am on the NuvaRing and so far am doing okay on it. Go enjoy a talk with your gyno.
