Women's Health Question?
I am a 23 year old female, who is sexually active near my fiance. I am not on birth control (went off it about a year ago due to complications) and we seldom use condoms. I am late on my extent. I took a pregnancy test over the weekend and it came up negative, so I thought it should be coming inwardly a few days. My period ALWAYS comes at the end of each month. It still hasn't come, and very soon it's the first of the month.
I usually have symptoms of PMS (headache, bloated, cramps) a few days before my cycle but I am not experiencing any of them. I feel clearly fine, except for the fact my breasts are a little tender. I am very concerned, and be wondering if I should wait a few more days before taking another pregnancy test?
I am not underneath a lot of stress, and there hasn't been any key changes in my life. I am contained by shape, not overweight, and have no history of irregular periods.
If it isn't pregnancy, then what else could be wrong?

** I be recently laid off, so I do not have strength insurance anymore. I am working though! So although going to the dr would be best, I really can't right now unless absolutely necessary! I merely want some thoughts/opinions.thanks :)
Best Answer: Wait a couple of weeks before trying another pregnancy test. It's a bit too soon after the missed spell for your body to be sending messages of altered hormones. If the pregnancy test comes back positive or you are two weeks late on your extent, you'll have to go to the doctor, insurance or no. Also, why aren't you using condoms? A woman can potentially get pregnant at any time during her cycle. It's completely ill-considered and irresponsible to not be using some kind of protection if you don't want pregnancy. Especially if you don't have health insurance!
