Are adjectives mothers so sensitive?
My mom will not let me play any games or listen to music on trips, and never has. Even if I just bring an iPod, I can't listen to it because of the click when I switch songs. I am not permitted to send texts around her, chew gum, I am not allowed to be on a computer within the same room as her and she constantly makes up noises around that don't exist. When I be little I was not allowed to play with toys that made thud.
Also, she never sleeps in the same bed as my father. When we are at hotels, we can only obtain two beds, and I have to share one with her even though I am 14-years-old. I other have had to since I was 4, and I enjoy to stay completely still. If I so much as start moving my arm, or try to switch sides she will start yelling at me and mocking me and threatening to leave to go home.
When I am studying for an exam, and my elder brother is helping me at a table in the dining room, my mother will yell at us to be quiet because she is watching a TV show. Even if it's just a rerun of Desperate Housewives, and I'm studying for a final exam.
Also, she is very sensitive to criticism. She cut my hair until I be ten. She would always start cutting on one side, but it was rutted so she'd cut more and more and more until my hair was way too short. When I cried and complained almost this, she became extremely angry. She began yelling that everyone loathed her, that I was just trying to bring her down. She yelled that she be just such an awful person, and if she was so awful why didn't I only move out? She refused to talk to me for days, despite me drawing her pictures to try to get her to speak to me again.
On one happening, we were on a road trip and were stopping at a hotel. My father was making prominent reservations. Whilst he was on the phone I apparently did something which angered her, and she pinned me against the wall, and mumbled quietly (so the person on the other conclude wouldn't hear) in my face and pinched my thighs until it bruised. Then she said this never happened.
Is it average to be so sensitive to sounds/movement?
Best Answer: I've never heard of such an extreme situation. She sounds scary. Making you sleep in duplicate bed, but not letting you move? The noise, I can understand to an extent. I need actual silence when I'm on the phone, but that's because I'm hard of hearing and have trouble grasp speech. Perhaps you could ask a counselor at your school for tips on dealing with her. She might have migraines that she won't bring up to date anyone about, or some form of phobia about certain types of environment noise. But whatever you do, do NOT insist that she get support for it. If you can make her think that it is her idea to take help, she might, but if she thinks that it's part of your criticism, later you'll have a world of trouble.

As for the question if all mothers are that way, the answer is no. They are not. I believed they adjectives were until I met my boyfriend's mother and she is the complete opposite of mine. There is something mentally wrong with your mother and she probably doesn't conjecture there is anything wrong with her because that is how culture that are that way think. As for you, I would try to remember that it isn't your fault that she is the style she is. I know that living with someone like that can take a toll on your emotion and your self-esteem. I really wish I could offer advice to you but I know you probably weren't really asking for any. I purely feel bad and wish here was more I could do. :( I just had to move out because I couldn't lug it anymore. I wish you the best of luck and just remember: It isn't your fault.
