Need Answers! Cramping after sex...?
For the last six months, whenever my partner and I have intercourse I am left near agonising cramps in my stomach and lower back. They last for more or less 40 minutes and are a million times worse than any other cramp I have ever experienced. I get really nauseous, over heated, and my hand and face go numb. On a few occasions I hold even considered calling an ambulance.
I have had implonan inserted about a year and a partially ago, and as this has only been stirring for about 5 or 6 months I am questioning whether or not it has anything to do next to the cramps.
Does anyone know what could be happening? Is there anyone who has have the same experience?
Best Answer: I used to have the same problem, and I too almost have my boyfriend take me to the hospital, on several occasions. I asked my OBGYN, and she said it was intensely possible that I had ovarian cysts that were bursting due to having sex. It's hurting & scary. You may want to go to your doctor, she would be able to do a sonogram and may be capable of see if you have cysts. She also told me it may be caused by your body not being relaxed plenty (as in not enough foreplay)... but I'm pretty sure it was the cysts bursting. I'd bring back hot, extreme pain... but I still suggest talking to your Gynocologist about it. Good luck, I know how awful that is to say.
