Can have irregular period affect whether or not you are fertile.?
I mean, I am 20 years old but I've been have very irregular periods. Since I started menstruating I was never regular but adjectives of a sudden as I came sexually active I've been have very irregular periods. Sometimes lasting more than a week. Is this commonplace?
Best Answer: It is normal. Some people are never regular I know I'm not. But since that you are sexually active I would return with it checked out by a doctor. Irregular periods themselves do not cause infertility, it is the underlying causes: Endomentrious (sp), Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, STD/STIs. If it is basically irregular periods I would say no. I mean it would possibly be difficult to get pregnant simply because you would not be sure when you were ovulating.
